There isn't a better way to spend a sunny day in Seattle than hiking!

Hiking on Mother's Day!! I LOVE being a mom to these two kiddos! Thanks for making my Mother's Day so special!!!

 He slept the whole hike :)!

 While hiking we even saw an owl.

 This last week after Tyler was off work we did a 1 1/4 mile hike down to a beach in Edmonds and had a picnic. It was a little bit ambitions for a week night but Averie did awesome and hiked the whole 1 1/4 down and back!

Tyler and Declan were a bit faster than us (we had to stop for a couple breaks) so I took this pic of us.

 We were definitely hot and sweaty by the time we got back to our car.

(You gotta love Averie's pink hat. She picked it out from H&M and said that it is her summer hat!)
