Christmas Tree!!

This last Sunday was an absolutely beautiful day here in Seattle (really cold though) so it was a perfect day to go and pick out our Christmas tree!

This is one of my favorite pictures!
Hugging our tree :)!

Helping Daddy carry the tree!
Hot cocoa for the ride home.
Helping make sure the tree is straight.

After the tree was decorated Averie helped put lights on the house.
Cheers!!! Another round of cocoa to finish off the day!

On Monday we headed down to downtown Edmonds to look at the Christmas ships. We didn't stay long because it was 29 degrees out...burrr!

This year we headed down to Portland to celebrate Thanksgiving with Uncle Kory, Aunt Nanette and Gavin. The food was amazing and Averie had a great time playing with Gavin! I forgot to take pictures until dessert!

Eating dessert with Aunt Nanette and Gavin.
This was me trying to get Averie to smile while she was eating!Last weekend we had a shower for Angela and baby Gretchen who is due in only 17 more days!!! (oh and for those who haven't seen me in the last month and a half I did dye my hair dark brown :))

Gymnastics and Soccer!

This fall we enrolled (thanks GG and Grandpop and Gramma and Grampa Skaare)
Averie in a gymnastics aka "nastics" class. She absolutely LOVES every minute of it!
Waiting patiently for our turn to go in (thanks Uncle Mike and Auntie Becka for the cute dress :))!!Doing a backwards roll! We spend most of our time on the bars or rings!

We also enrolled her in a Mommy, Daddy, and me soccer class. She didn't love this nearly as much as gymnastics...she didn't like getting dirty :)!

Halloween and our Little Pumpkin!

Enjoying Daddy's pumpkin pancakes! We weren't sure if we were going to be able to celebrate Halloween this year because Averie had croup. However, by Saturday night she was feeling and sounding much better so we headed down to downtown Edmonds to meet some friends and family. It was a typical rainy Seattle day but we had a great time!

Our cute little pumpkin!
Pretending to be growing in the ground! Trick-or-treating!
This year was nice because she had no idea that candy was in the packages :). She just liked carrying things in her "pumpkin purse."

We had to warm up with some steamed milk. Snuggling with Aunt Tiffy and Uncle Jason.

Pumpkin Carving!

Picking out our pumpkins! It is hard work searching for the perfect pumpkin!

Leavenworth and Half Marathon

Last weekend we headed up to Leavenworth, WA to celebrate GG and Grandpop's birthday! While we were there I finished my first half marathon.

We celebrated Tom and Kim's birthday on Friday night with dinner and cake.
Eating birthday cake with Grandpop.
Before the race it was 34 degrees! We were FREEZING!! It quickly warmed up though.
Tyler, Averie, Tom and Kim cheered me on at mile 4 and 8. It was nice to see their faces!
After coming over the finish line...I was exhausted! While I was running Tyler, Averie, Kim and Tom found things to do around town.
Not sure if that was a good idea :)!
