4th of July

Even though our weather was pretty crummy in June the 4th of July was BEAUTIFUL! We celebrated with some friends watching the Edmonds parade, barbecuing, lighting sparklers and roasting marshmallows.
Tyler and Averie went and parked and watched the fireworks!

This little guy (well he isn't so little) zonked out for the night.
I think he is telling me that it was a bit hot :). I just LOVE those chubby little legs!

Daddy Daughter Day!

Tyler took Averie to a fishing class a couple of weeks ago at our local fish hatchery. They spent the morning making their own fishing pole and fishing for rainbow trout. It was a good practice to go fishing with Uncle Kory and Cousin Gavin!
 Showing off her first fish!
Fish #2
We had a bbq at some friends later that day and had to bbq the trout :).
 Taking a taste!
Climbing her first tree!

Ballet!

Our sweet little girl had "Show Day" at ballet a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have been prouder! My heart swells every time I see her do anything and I can't help have a few tears spill over when I watch her.
Averie we are so proud of the kind, sweet, sensitive, generous, beautiful and yes feisty (not sure where you get that) little girl you are! We love you and love spending time with you and watching you grow into the girl that God has created you to be!
This sweet little guy watched the whole performance!
We loved that Aunt Sue came to watch!
And of course it wouldn't be "Show Day" without celebrating with donuts :)!
Tuckered out after a busy morning!

End of June

It has been way to long since I have updated our blog and frankly I am feeling overwhelmed with the amount of pictures I have to go through. But with the weather outside screaming that fall has arrived I am going to hang onto summer for a few more hours and remember all the fun that we have had the last few months when the weather was much warmer :)!

Our BIG guy turned 4 months! These pictures remind me SO much of my Grandpa Dan.
Tyler and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary at the end of June by spending a few days at Suncadia biking, swimming and of course eating :). It was a great first family vacation!
He had some chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room :).
Tyler decided to go down this slide and got stuck :).
