Last weekend Tyler surprised me with a trip to Leavenworth for our anniversary! We had a great time. The weather was beautiful (but very hot). On the way there we stopped near Gold Bar on the Index River (I think that is what it is called) and had a picnic where Tyler proposed. It was beautiful!!! When we got to Leavenworth we swam in the hotel pool, walked around down town, ate ice cream, walked some more, rented bikes and went bike riding, walked some more, and relaxed on our balcony while Averie slept. It was a great trip!!

It was so hot while we were there that we let Averie have her first bight of ice cream. At first she wasn't sure what it was but she kept climbing up my lap to eat more so I think she liked it :)!
